Dedicated In-House Laboratory:

  • ABG (Arterial Blood Gas) machine for rapid blood gas analysis.
  • Stat creatinine machine for quick renal function evaluation.
  • Cardiac analyser capable of detecting highly sensitive Troponin I, CK-MB, and BNP, facilitating prompt diagnosis of cardiac emergencies.

Diagnostic and Monitoring Equipment:

  • ECG machine for real-time cardiac monitoring.
  • Portable X-ray machine for immediate imaging at the point of care.
  • Ultrasonography with colour Doppler for bedside imaging of soft tissues, vascular structures, and organ systems.

Specialized Tools for Advanced Care:

  • Video laryngoscopes, rigid and flexible bronchoscopes for airway management and diagnostic procedures.
  • Mechanical ventilators, HFNC machines to support patients with respiratory failure.
  • Defibrillators for resuscitation of critically ill patients. 
  • Dialysis unit for patients requiring urgent dialysis.

Emergency Response Vehicles:

  • A fleet of 5 ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) ambulances and 5 BLS (Basic Life Support) ambulances, fully equipped to handle pre-hospital emergencies and transport critical patients safely.

Strengths of the Department:

  • AHA Certified centre for conduct of ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) training program
  • Centre for conduct of  PHTLS (Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support) workshops, in cooperation with the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburg,h and Saving Lives
