Dr. R. Rajeswaran Honored at BRICS Neuroscience Symposium 2026 for Contribution to 3D Brainstem Atlas

Congratulations to Dr. R. Rajeswaran, Professor of Radiology, SRIHER

At the BRICS Neuroscience Symposium June 6^th 2026, Indian Institute of Technology Madras unveiled a 3D Atlas of the Brainstem. Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research provided high-resolution MRI images that were integrated with histology sections, creating a platform similar to Google Maps for detailed exploration of the brainstem.

Dr. R. Rajeswaran was acknowledged for his significant contribution to this project and was felicitated at the BRICS Neuroscience Symposium by the Prof. V. Kamakoti, Director of IIT Madras and shri.Kris Gopalakrishnan, co-founder of Infosys and also recognized in The Times of India.
