The Department of General Medicine, Sri Ramachandra Medical College & Research Institute, SRIHER, conducted its Monthly CME Programme on Friday, 23rd January 2026, at the General Medicine Link Room, G Block (SRH).

The CME featured an expert lecture on “MDR Pathogens in Clinical Practice” by Dr. Ram Subramaniam, Consultant in Infectious Diseases, Apollo Hospitals. The session provided practical insights into the evolving challenges of multidrug-resistant organisms, with emphasis on rational antimicrobial use and evidence-based management strategies.

The programme was well attended by faculty members and postgraduate students and was marked by active interaction and meaningful academic discussion, reinforcing the importance of updated knowledge in infectious disease practice.
