The Department of Psychiatry in collaboration with the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan Committee and the Student’s council, organized an event to observe International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking on 26th June 2025. An awareness rally was conducted in alignment with the theme “Breaking the Chains: Prevention, Treatment and Recovery for all”. Participants carried banners, placards, chanting slogans to promote a drug-free society. The event aimed to inspire youth to become ambassadors of a healthy, drug-free lifestyle.
